Jo Malone CBE is a globally renowned fragrance entrepreneur, often described as an “English scent maverick.” Starting out as a facial therapist, she discovered a natural talent for fragrance blending, which led to the creation of her first brand, Jo Malone London. After selling the brand to Estée Lauder in 1999 and stepping away in 2006 Jo is no longer associated with the Jo Malone London brand or Jo Malone London products) she was
awarded an MBE in 2008.
In 2011, she launched her second venture, Jo Loves, inspired by her love of travel and creativity. The brand has become known for its innovative, memory-inspired fragrances and continues to grow internationally.
Jo has received numerous accolades, including a CBE in 2018 and induction into the World Retail Hall of Fame. In 2023, she and her husband moved to Dubai and founded Jo Malone CBE Creative Consultancy, launching new ventures like Jo Vodka in 2025. Jo is also a celebrated speaker and mentor, with her BBC course “How to Think Like an Entrepreneur” reaching global audiences.
